Andrew’s role as Director, Investments includes portfolio construction and management, system design and development, attribution analysis and risk model development and management.

Andrew has over 17 years financial markets experience specialising in quantitative portfolio management and execution, risk management, system development, product and solution development and portfolio operations.

Prior to co-founding Omega, Andrew built and managed the growth of global and domestic equity investment capabilities at Vanguard Investments to over $7 billion. Andrew has also held portfolio management and quantitative analysis positions with Alpha Investment Management and Commonwealth Funds Management.

Mathew’s role as Director, Investments includes portfolio construction and management, risk management, development of product and solutions, investment theory research and portfolio analytics.

Mathew has over 20 years financial markets experience specialising in quantitative portfolio management and execution, risk management, system development, product and solution development  and portfolio operations.

Prior to co-founding Omega, Mathew was Head of Fixed Interest at Vanguard Investments for over 10 years, where he built and managed the growth of global and domestic fixed interest capabilities to over $18 billion.  Mathew also worked at Treasury Corporation of Victoria for 7 years and was responsible for managing $30 billion against a liability benchmark. 

GEORGE VASSOS
MANAGING DIRECTOR

George’s role as Managing Director includes responsibility for overall corporate strategy and business functions including sales and client relationship management, investment operations, corporate governance and finance.

George has significant experience in funds management spanning 20 years, covering executive management, distribution and client relationship management, product development and operations.

Prior to co-founding Omega, George spent over 9 years at Vanguard Investments where he built and spearheaded their distribution and relationship management to financial advisers, platforms and multi managers to over $5 billion in funds under management.  George also spent 6 years with the Colonial Group focussing on investment operations, systems development and business development.

ANDREW DUNLEVIE
HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Andrew's role as Head of Operations includes responsibility for developing and implementing operations strategy for the business, its product range and investment solutions.

Andrew has extensive experience in funds management over a 15 year time horizon specialising in all aspects of investment operations, compliance, and accounting. 

Prior to joining Omega, Andrew held a senior operations role with Alpha Investment Management for 7 years where he was responsible for investment operations, fund accounting, compliance monitoring and financial reporting for funds and mandates.  Andrew has also spent time as an account manager for the private superannuation division of Perpetual Trustees, along with working for State Street Australia where he oversaw the client transition process when the business acquired the Westpac custodian arm.
